Yoga is a Sanskrit word that literally translated means union of
body, mind, and spirit.
The yoga class at SafeSkills® has been very enriching. Beth is a wonderful instructor and cares about her students. She is very knowledgeable. I have enjoyed the class and look forward to continuing. In essence, if anyone is interested in yoga, SafeSkills® is the place to go.

Since I started Back in Balance my feet have improved noticeably:
the existing bunion and arthritis have lessened and I haven't had to

When I started taking classes at SafeSkills®, I had occasional nerve pain down my leg.
After a few months, my posture and trunk strength were so much better, the pain
completely went away. Since then, I have gotten a Physical Therapy degree and
appreciate how balance and coordination skills are so easily worked

Yoga Basics
Yoga is fun! But not if you don’t know what you are doing. SafeSkills® Yoga Basics
is a great place for the average person to start! This class will break postures
down through careful explanation of the fundamentals. You will focus on working
through a series of body poses (asanas) performed either sitting, standing, or lying
down, with concentration on posture and breathing. Students receive helpful feedback,
positive reinforcement, and gentle corrections to improve their flexibility, strength,
and body alignment.
Taught by Beth Seigler, co-founder of SafeSkills® Movement Arts Center. A yoga practitioneer for 16 years, Beth
has over 25 years experience teaching body alignment and movement as an instructor
with SafeSkills®. |
